I am extemely excited! Our financing is -almost- completed, our general contractor is hired and our good friends are electricians so we have some wicked ideas floating around... our backyard is gonna rock!
The project:
1. Rebuild upper deck - extend it ourward a few feet and across to be in front of the dining window. Possible a pergola over the top.
1a) build stairs coming from.the top.deck to the bottom
2. Build entire bottom patio/deck. (So many ideas for this)
3. Build proper stairs coming down to the backyard.
4. Possibly look at rebuilding garden plots while we are at it. (budget pending)
Our contractor will do entire upper deck. We plan to assist heavily with the ground level work. We sit down with him mid february and building hopefully will start first of april (or sooner weather depending).
